A few days ago, my cousin Laura put up this site on Shutterfly for family members to post pictures and stuff, partially as a project to make for Grandma. I've been browsing hundreds of random family photos (including a few dating back to the roaring '20s, those are pretty fabulous), and I uploaded a bunch last night.

So here are a couple I found particularly amusing. I may post more random pictures eventually.

Oh... my... gosh. Santa has that "MMM, BITING HEADS OFF BABIES IS MY FAVORITE THING EVER" look on his face. This is terrifyingly hilarious. Those are my cousins' kids Cameron, Ashley, Logan, and Ethan, and this must have been taken 3 or 4 years ago.

And now, for something completely different:

Your eyes do not deceive you. Yes, that's me holding a baby. And look, I'm not even wincing in disgust or making a sandwich. Shock! That's my cousin Emily, and this picture was taken in August 2006, I think. We were at Allen and Angela's wedding, and her mom Laura handed her to me while she got the little boys ready (the wedding party had like 6 little kids in it). The whole time, I was thinking, "please don't puke on me, please don't puke on me..."

In other news, I don't think I'm sick, but my neck has really been bothering me. It just keeps aching for some reason. It's at the base of my skull, for the most part. It kept bothering me last night and today, and I'm not sure why, since I didn't do anything unusual with my head/neck in the last few days. I've also had this random headache around the forehead. *shrug* Maybe my brain is growing, or something. Or the spider eggs are hatching, and tomorrow my head will explode into spiders. Anyway, I almost never take medicine for anything, but I've had 2 ibuprofin today. (They work pretty well, thank goodness, or I'd be really grumpy right now.) I hope this clears up soon, preferably now.
