I had a rather odd dream last night. Most of it was weird as usual, then it turned personal. I was walking around what was apparently campus with a certain friend (not saying who, but most of you don't know him anyway), though it strangely resembled the Franklin Regional schools. Yes, "oh dear" is right. Apparently there was a building for the investigations of murders, and behind that was this security building. So my friend and I walked into the security building. I think my dad was there, but I wasn't sure. So the friend and I were walking inside the security building (not sure why) and suddenly he put his arm around me. I was surprised but didn't do anything, and we kept walking around the building. Then we left, and there were a bunch of people outside. We sat down, and I started writing stuff on this piece of paper I had in my pocket. He looked over at it and asked if I was writing to my sister or something. Then I got up and walked over to this giant machine thingy, kind of like a gumball/claw machine. I was doing weird stuff with it, trying to get the prizes inside (that part was just silly and insignificant, I won't go into detail). But I was wondering why my friend put his arm around me and if it meant something that I was oblivious to. I mean, he's my friend, but I don't know him very well and we don't spend very much time together. So of course I was confused. Then I woke up and thought, "Why the heck was I dreaming about him?" I don't have any feelings for him or anything, he's just someone I see a couple times a week and occasionally talk to. *shrugs* Oh well, I've had even more confusing dreams, that one was just a little freaky.

Well, this one came out a little crummy, and the shadows are all wrong... and I would look terrible with poofy hair. But it's me with Jareth! Weeeeee!

No more FS! Yay! I hate that class! I just have to turn in the final on Thursday, and I'll be done with it. I think I'm going to go have lunch now and work on some poetry revisions. Today at the public poetry reading I think I'll read "Self Portrait" and "1983" (once I revise them) and "Rapunzel" by Anne Sexton (it's kinda long, but it's... interesting). So let's see what's on the menu for Brooks today...

Well, NaNoWriMo is over. In one way, I failed to meet my original goal, but I didn't fail epically, and I did make good progress. The original goal…
