Woooo, interesting days. On Thursday night, Spam came over and we watched "Dude, Where's My Car?" and played with Moccasin. On Friday night, I went to Kathy's house, and Megan was there too. Thinking we'd be the only people there except for some of Kathy's family members, I wore my "sorry I missed church, I was busy practicing witchcraft and becoming a lesbian" shirt. Of course, there were about 20 people at her house, including old people and children, so I ended up crossing my arms a lot and standing off to the side. The people were making me nervous anyway (I get that way when I have to be around large groups of people, particularly people I don't know), and I didn't want anyone commenting on my shirt. We were only around the people for a few minutes before we went to Kathy's room, so it wasn't a big deal. We watched "They," and it's a really stupid horror movie. Don't ever see it, it's predictable and they don't explain anything, plus it's not even scary. I'm a total wimp when it comes to horror movies, and it didn't scare me. Afterwards, we played Scrabble, which was quite interesting. Before Kathy took us home, we were messing around in the garage and Megan accidentally bonked me in the face with her umbrella. When I got home (around 1 am), the house was completely dark so I tried turning the light on in the kitchen. It didn't work. I tried turning on other lights in the house. Nothing. I figured we had lost power from the nasty storm that evening, so I went and got my alarm clock since it glows when a button is pushed. Using it as a flashlight, I got a real flashlight from the basement and used it to navigate so I wouldn't accidentally kill myself. Since there was no power, there wasn't much to do, and I figured I'd go to bed even though I wasn't tired at all and sleep during the day anyway. Well, I couldn't sleep, and after 15 minutes or so, I got up to use the sink and heard a distant noise, like music. I went downstairs and saw that a couple lights were on, and the DVD player in the basement was making the noise. So I turned it off, turned the computer on (apparently my dad had turned everything off, including the power supplies for the computers in the basement. Weeee. So now I'm just sitting here with Moccasin and thinking about getting something to eat. It's almost 5 am, so I might want to head to bed soon if I want to be awake for part of Saturday afternoon, at least. I'd like to check on the garden (we're growing corn, peppers, eggplant, broccoli, tomatos, cherry tomatos, yellow squash, zucchini, and pumpkins) and go to the bank and stuff. Yippee. I should also fix my mood theme one of these days.
