Why don't we get labor day off? Everyone else gets labor day off...

Still no internet for me, because the computing center is incompetent. Oh well. Nick is in my writing fiction class, and Evil Thom is in my chemistry & archaeology class. I probably have other friends in other classes too, but I don't know it yet. I'm getting along with my housemates. I really miss my kitties though. And Alpha. I stopped by the house for something after lunch and Jamie was watching "Bring It On," and I grinned to myself when I thought of what a fine meal those cheerleaders would be. And after we eat them, we can play with the pornporns! Weeee!

Whew, I'm tired. I blame the Lexapro, it's been making me tired all week. Ah well. I don't think it's doing anything for the social anxiety, but at least I still feel creative! As long as I still have my creativity, that's all that matters. I suppose it also works as an antidepressant, since I haven't been having random mood swings, yet I don't feel emotionless like when I was on Paxil. Ugh... I still think that medication is useless. So what if I'm absurdly shy? It's just how I am, and I don't want to change. Ah well... just following the neurologist's orders. By the bye, my EEG and MRI came out normal, but I'd like to see some detailed results since I want to know more about what's going on inside my head.

It's also very hard to determine your impression of a teacher on the first day of classes when you've heard many questionable rumors about the person but don't know the person very well. When a certain friend asked me what I thought of a certain professor this afternoon, I said, "I don't know... he smells kinda funny." Perhaps next time I should sit elsewhere.

'Tis rainy and my sweatshirt and pants are damp, and I was going to make crab rangoons and chicken fried rice tonight, but then I learned there's an Argo meeting, and we always have dinner after the meeting, so perhaps I'll make the rangoons and rice tomorrow. I love crab rangoons fresh out of the oil... they're so yummy. Hey, if you're on campus and want some Chinese food a la Ade, stop by the writers' house tomorrow. Or any time, for that matter. Just so you know, it's the big white house a few houses north of Caflisch. It's easy to find, really! It even has an overturned chair on the front lawn (full of nasty stingy creatures).

And now, I'm going back to the house for some video game action.
