Going to Walfart is fun late at night when you're wearing a fancy goth dress and cloak and pushing around a shopping cart like a normal person. Of course, whenever I'm left to my own devices, I start buying all sorts of unnecessary junk. For example, the cow costume. I'm definitely not going to be a cow for Halloween. But I saw the costume and had to have it. Why? Because of the Cows With Guns skit. I also got a black wig, but I can justify that since I'm going to be Lilo, and she definitely has black hair. It would be better than dying my hair, anyway, even though the wig was a cheap, crappy one. I got some nifty kids sneakers with flames on them for around $8! Heee! I heard the Rufus Wainwright version of "The Origin of Love" in the car on the way back, but it was disappointing. Partially because it wasn't Hedwig (or even Tommy), partially because he had a whiny voice and kept dragging out words that didn't need to be dragged out (that's a musical pet peeve of mine). It's such a beautiful song, one of my favorites, but that was a weak version. My favorite is the version on the original Broadway "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" soundtrack.
Tuesday group was quite fun as usual, though very few people actually came (grrr). It's after 1 am, and I have a chem exam in a little over 12 hours! Have I studied? NO! Do I understand the material? NO! *maniacal laugh* Ah well, I can study during lunch tomorrow! *falls over*
I will post new pictures tomorrow. Greatestjournal is being a bitch, and I'm tired.
