"I'm a nun - I'm a penguin!"

(no subject)

Just got back from Sherwin Williams, where we were picking out colors for the house next year. Sara wasn't there, so I was worried about picking out colors for our room that she would approve of. We finally agreed on colors for the main areas, and for my room I picked out this light-medium purple and a dark green trim. The others liked it, so I hope Sara does too.

Just 2 more 3-page papers to do, and I'll be finished with finals! I know what I'm writing about for the Hamlet one (the different portrayals of Ophelia in movie versions of Hamlet), but I haven't been able to write it (I'm exhausted, and I always take a long time to get around to starting the intro). I don't know about the Titus Andronicus paper though, since I didn't even read the play or see the movie (I avoided it since it really freaked Megan out and she's a horror fan, and I'm a total wimp who hates horror movies, particularly violent ones where people die all the time). But I'll do the papers tonight and maybe tomorrow morning if I'm lazy and only do 1 tonight. My dad is coming around noon tomorrow, so I need to do more packing. I've packed almost all my clothes and some other things. I decided that when I go home, I'll sort out all my clothing, pick out the items that don't fit or I know I'll never wear, and thin out my wardrobe. If I like an article of clothing but it doesn't fit, I'll store it and use it to dress my mannequin so at least she can look cool. With the rest of the clothing, I'll see if Katie and Julia and my friends who are somewhere near my size range (clothing wise, anyway...) and anyone else wants to visit ye old Ade thrift store. If not, I hear that my neighborhood is having a garage sale in June. Either way, it will be good to get rid of some stuff since I'm a pack rat.

Almost suppatime. May be the last time I see some of my friends for a few months. *sigh* I'm going to miss my college friends, but I'll see most of them again in August (except the ones who are graduating). Next year is going to be awesome though. At least as long as the writers' house people put up with each other, before mass chaos erupts and people start hating each other. I'll try to stay on their good sides as long as I can. I get along with others as long as they're nice to me and respect my beliefs and boundaries. They might get sick of me hanging around all the time though, since I tend to stay in my room all the time, only leaving for meals, classes, and meetings. I'll try to go back to fencing since I basically stopped going this semester, but we'll see what happens.

And the dragon comes in the NIIIIIIIGHT!!!!!!!!
