I actually squealed when I saw this

Quote of the day:

Katie: (looking at the cover of Scientific American) Hey, it's Einstein! I recognize him!
Ade: Well, he is pretty famous.
Katie: Well, yeah, he, like, invented math.

In other news, congratulations to Ben and Em for finding all 3 cats. You get gold stars!

So my dad was telling me about this Cameltoe site and how funny it was. And a few minutes ago, I went there to check it out. Oooooooooooookay! While it's not exactly porn, it's like porn's little sister (Pornette?). And my dad told me about this. *shakes head* And to think, my parents used to yell at me for expressing interest in anything even remotely sexual and would flip out if they caught me with porn. Well... I guess since I'm perfectly legal now, it doesn't matter, and now my dad encourages me to look at "camel toes." Hehehe...

My 11-year-old neighbor Colin was hanging out in our driveway, playing with the cats today. I went out to join him, and we ended up stick-fighting for a good 15 minutes or so as the sun set and it grew dark. It was a lot of fun waving sticks around, swapping silly insults, and laughing. Colin is a neat kid. We get along because we're kind of on the same twisted wavelength. We're goofy kids with similar issues, and I think I'm one of the only kids in the neighborhood that really understands him and doesn't tease him for being different. Yeah, I still consider myself one of the neighborhood kids. I still act like one, anyway.

Speaking of interesting kids, for some reason my sister has been asking me about Diane's son Alex recently. Like today she was asking if he's cute and what he's like and stuff (my response was something along the lines of, "Uhhh... I guess he's cute in that 14-year-old boy kind of way, although your tastes are much different than mine, and I don't really know him that well so I can't tell you much."). She kept asking questions (she's like that), so finally I went to Diane's web site and showed her a picture. I just find this all so amusing. Heh... they should get together sometime. It would be cute. And funny.

And hopefully tomorrow evening I will have a new monitor. My current one only works half the time, and it's morbidly obese. While I'm usually opposed to weight discrimination, my monitor is just too large and heavy for my tastes, and it's time I got one of those lighter, slimmer flat-panel ones. Especially since I'll be moving back to the writers' house in less than a week, and I don't want the monitor taking up a lot of space in my trunk.

Ta ta, dearies.
