Tim Curry just plain rocks

(no subject)

I took this alignment test a few months ago that said I'm chaotic good. But I seem to be more chaotic neutral, for neutral is what I usually am. I'm pretty neutral regarding the election (I voted for one side because I didn't agree with a few of the other side's policies that were more important to me, but I still remain mostly neutral), and I seem to always end up neutral when there's tension between people. Whenever friends are arguing, I'm usually the neutral one, the one both of them rant to, and I don't take sides unless I strongly feel one side is wrong. I get along with most people, as long as they're nice to me. I'll be friends with almost anybody, even the people others think are mean, annoying, bitchy, or assholes. This includes several people I'm friends with now. And I try to defend them when others are trashing them, even if I agree that they are mean, annoying, bitchy, or assholes. But I'm friends with them because they're nice to me and appreciate who I am. I'm a pretty tolerant person. I mean, when I get bitched at, I usually just take it unless it really pisses me off and I bitch right back. If I say "fuck you" not in a joking way, back off. I can be pretty damn scary when I'm angry. And I'm also sick of people trashing each other and saying mean things behind other people's backs. I'm not referring to any of you specifically, just some of you in general, particularly most of my college friends. I wish all my friends got along, but apparently that's not going to happen.

Oh, and regarding my last friends-only post, the angriness was directed to the few of you who say things like "I hate all Republicans, because they're all closed-minded assholes and I refuse to see anything good in someone who votes for [insert string of insults here]." I don't care if you hate Bush, but if you're going to hate people based on a political affiliation, you're just as bad as homophobes, racists, and anti-semites. Seriously. Stop all the hatred. And to everyone, don't say mean things about my friends to me or in front of me. Don't insult them to their faces in front of me, unless it's in a joking way (because I make fun of people all the time, but they know I'm joking). It really pisses me off. I love you all, but sometimes I just want to slap you.

Ah. Ranting makes me feel better. Hmmm, seems I've been doing a lot of that lately. I guess it's because everyone seems to be grumpy lately and I can't stand it.

So! Happy things. There was this vegetable soup at the vegan station today that was pretty good and didn't make me feel funny. I love Tessie. And I like it when people make me feel appreciated. It's one of the best feelings ever. It's the little ego-handjobs that make life worthwhile.
