I love my hand!

(no subject)

I can't get the "Belleville Rendezvous" song from "The Triplets of Belleville" (awesome movie, by the bye) out of my head. It's the kind of song I just want to play and bounce around to in my room all the time.

It's been a productive weekend so far. I've been comping and doing a little cleaning. It's kind of hard to clean the rat cage without using the right thumb (I sliced it while cutting replacement duct tape strips for the cracked bottom), so that made things more interesting. Nick and I went to Chovy's on Friday, and the margherita pizza is delicious. Yesterday, there was a Rock Against Sexual Violence event, and Golem people were reading poetry. Oh dear, I just got this mental picture of a bunch of golems reading poetry. Anyway, I read "Bleeding" by May Swenson, which is a rather morbid and disturbing poem, but I kind of cracked up while reading it because the morbidness amused me. Yes, I know I'm a horrible person. I met Ken Bremer, a poet who goes to Edinboro, and I bought his book. He looks like he's 7 (yes, he's shorter than me), but he's older than me, and he's visually impaired. He's really nice, intelligent, and interesting too. Today I have much paper writing to accomplish. Weee.

This is definitely my parents.
