"I'm a nun - I'm a penguin!"

(no subject)

There was a gas line rupture in Murrysville, less than a mile away from where I work. Apparently there was gasoline shooting 100 feet in the air, but I couldn't see it because it was snowing out. Traffic was all backed up, so I decided to walk to Subway for lunch, instead of going home like I usually do. But when I went outside, I could smell the gasoline, and when I walked down to the shopping center, firefighters were going door to door telling people to shut down and evacuate. A couple of my coworkers were walking down to get food too, so I told them what was going on. I figured it would be best if I went home for a while, so I skedaddled. I don't know when I'll go back, but I'll see what happens. There were fire trucks and ambulances everywhere, and part of 22 was closed, so I may not be back to work for a few hours. Ah well. Better to be safe, I guess. I hope it clears up in the next couple hours. Not that I'm excited about going back to work or anything...
