Anyway, back to the craziness that is my life at school. I actually did some catch-up reading today, and I finished Girl, Interrupted. It was a pretty good book, though it wasn't as depressing or disturbing as I thought it would be. And it was a lot different than the movie too. I think I like the book better. It doesn't have the disturbing scene where she finds her friend hanging in the shower. And it's more interesting.
I got all that work done, then I went to dinner, ran into Ben, and we went to his room and prevented each other from doing anything productive for several hours. We put the "pro" in procrastination. Next year will be even worse. We'll be housemates, so there will be no standing up to leave at 2 am and saying "Right, I should go do work." Because we'll just be down the hall (or perhaps upstairs/downstairs) to distract each other again. And we'll end up sitting in the living room for several hours, tossing the plague rat, until Derek, Nick, Thom, John, and/or whoever else drops by will run in, scream "I can't take it any more," swipe the rat, and hide it somewhere. And I'll be comping next year too! *sulks* I'm trying to avoid becoming a super senior, but I somehow doubt I'll be able to finish my comp on time with so many distractions.
...And I still need to talk to Jamie about who gets Dude next year. And email Nesset in the next couple weeks so we can discuss scheduling next year. And email Res Life and sign housing contracts and stuff. Not to mention the mountain of homework, tests, projects, papers, and other stuff I need to do...
