Grarr. Ok, I don't know what's up with the Golem officers, but apparently they decided to move today's meeting to the AGP house. What the hell? Golem is always held at the writers' house! So some of my housemates aren't going, but I'm going to find out what's going on and let them know we don't appreciate being snubbed like that. I'm on good terms with the other Golemites (the ones I don't live with, the folks that are favored by Bakken and Nesset), but I know some of my housemates think a lot of them are assmunches. I know in the past couple years Tuesday group and Golem have sort of deteriorated, but why the sudden meeting change? Humph. I want the Allegheny writing community to be a community, not the broken sort of squish it is right now. There seems to be a divide, and it's growing. And I'm friends with both the twisted folks who write silly things and the more normal literary crowd that my housemates don't seem to like. So I'm caught in the middle, but I tend to lean towards the side of my housemates, since they're some of my best friends and we like similar writing. I'm tempted to take part in the rebellion my housemates seem to be planning, but I like harmony. I don't want us to all be divided. So I'll figure out what the deal is.

I got 3 1/2 hours of sleep last night! Bwahahahahaaaa! I ended up talking to Nick and Derek and watching John and Rose shamelessly snogging until 2 am, and then... I didn't really get to bed until 4, for other reasons. Trying to speak Chinese at 9 am when you're barely conscious is interesting. Nihaooooooohhhhhhhzzzzzzzzzzz..........

So today methinks I'll go to the bookstore and then head to Walfart to pick up some stuff and perhaps a new vaccuum since ours is retarded. Oh, and I should find a birthday present for Jess. I don't know what yet, but something fun and interesting.

On another note, drawing naked people is fun. Figure drawing calms the mind.

Now I'm picturing the most awkward conversation with a new person... Person: Hi! I'm person! Ade: Hi, I'm Ade. Person: Have you accepted Jesus…

Time for another "year in retrospect" post. 2010 was actually a pretty good year for me, all things considered. In the middle of January, I adopted…

Well, NaNoWriMo is over. In one way, I failed to meet my original goal, but I didn't fail epically, and I did make good progress. The original goal…
