(For the record, that's not an illegal drug, it's a style of crocheted dolls/animals.)
Today was Laura's birthday, so I went over to her house for a while. I made her a cute little stuffed baby dragon. She gave me my birthday present too, even though my birthday isn't for another month and four days, and we'll still probably see each other before that. They have two puppies there, one of which is a happy playful golden retriever (I love goldens, and he was soooooooo soft). Hooray for puppies!
I think it would be funny if there was a reality show where I was taking care of half a dozen or so puppies. See, I've never had a dog before, and while I'm sure I could raise half a dozen kittens, puppies would be an entirely different matter. The show would be hilarious at my expense. "Hey, stop peeing on my stuff! Aww, I was knitting that! Uh oh... so much for my clothing. Gahhhhhhhstopit! Come back here with my lunch! You just ate my novel! Aieeeeeee!!!!"
Yeah. I'll stick with my cats, thanks.
I went and looked at an apartment today. It was nice, a bit more expensive than I'd like, but I'm going to keep looking and see if I can find something decent and affordable. I hope I can move before my birthday, because that's about the time I need to renew my driver's license, and it would make it so much easier to not have to change the address soon after renewing it. Also, I'm glad I'll get a new license, one that doesn't say UNDER 21 UNTIL 5/18/2004 on it.
