Also, yesterday's driving lesson with Rose showed significant improvement on her part, although now I know what I put my parents through 8 years ago. I gave my abs and glutes a good workout there, with all the tensing and releasing and trying to remain calm for Rose's sake. She actually did fine for the most part, I was just worried since it was my car on the road at night. We went to Zaiaka (where we were the only diners there, and I sang a verse of "Dhadak Dhadak" for Meena) and the laundromat, where the owners were having a crazy domestic dispute and the woman kept screaming that she had to get a ride to Walmart and buy a shirt for her son, although I'm not sure why it was absolutely crucial to do this at night, and the guy kept threatening to call the cops. It was very awkward being there.
Well. It's Halloween. I'm wearing garb to work (I was supposed to go shopping with my sister to pick out my girly-girl costume, but I never got around to doing that, and even if I did, I wouldn't wear that to work). After work, I'm going to go home, resurrect Cyclor (this will be the 5th Cyclor - boy, has it really been 4 years?), see if there are any trick-or-treaters/eggers, and watch The Nightmare Before Christmas and, of course, The Rocky Horror Picture Show at midnight (or maybe even 10, since I do have to work tomorrow). Woot.
* Why I hate fanfiction: I think people should develop their own worlds instead of invading someone else's, you're messing with other people's imaginary friends, most fanfic is really badly-written, girls obsessed with slash should stop hiding behind a computer screen and find themselves a real mate instead of wasting their time reading waaaaaaay too much into male interaction and dealing with their own sexual frustration by reading/writing gay porn, and many other reasons. I realize I probably just offended a good portion of my friends list, I probably sound elitist, and I respect your right to read/write whatever you want, but I. Do. Not. Like. Fanfiction. At. All. And if you flame me for it, I'm going to laugh at you and tell you you'll never be as creative and original as the author/screenwriter/artist/whoever, because all you're doing is stealing someone else's characters and universes. So! Please don't hate me.
