The weekend was an interesting mixture of eventfulness and laziness. Ben came over on Friday night, and we watched "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" with the subtitles for people who don't like the film (taken from Shakespeare's "Henry IV, Part 2," and they actually came fairly close with the dialogue). He left in the morning, so it was a short visit, but a good one. These days, I'll pretty much take whatever social interaction I can get. I spent Saturday lazing around in my pajamas, playing Runescape, which is pretty much how I spend my weekends. And yesterday my dad and I drove around looking at houses (some decent, some questionable) and then went to Zaiaka. And he fixed my vacuum, so now I can resume whipping the place into shape.

Gosh, that was a boring entry. Well, here's something slightly more interesting (maybe). So, I was reading the Wikipedia entry for "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," and they mentioned in the "Cultural References" section that Runescape references the movie a few times, like when someone tries to use a herring on a tree. I've seen a bunch of Runescape's Monty Python references (and I do appreciate them), but I didn't see the herring one. So I used a herring on a tree, and it gave me the message, "This is not the mightiest tree in the forest."

Well, NaNoWriMo is over. In one way, I failed to meet my original goal, but I didn't fail epically, and I did make good progress. The original goal…
