Writer's Block: Wild Rumpus

A lot of characters in kids' books have it pretty good, from calling the start of the wild rumpus to ordering room service from their hotel suite. If you could be any character from children's literature, who would you be?

I'd be Annie Tree, from "6 Dogs, 23 Cats, 45 Mice, and 116 Spiders." I'd live in a little house and have 6 dogs, 23 cats, 45 mice, and 116 spiders, and I'd know the names of each and every one (except the two shy spiders who lived in the teapot - I'd just call them "the dears"). But my poor friend Priscilla Wickett would keep getting freaked out by all my animals, and she'd always run away in the middle of tea. *sigh*

...Yes, this was clearly one of the defining books of my childhood. I don't have that many animals yet, though. Right now, I have no dogs, two cats, one rat, and at least 116 spiders or so (I don't know exactly, they're all over the place, but I haven't named them yet).
