That said, I think I will at least use Nanowrimo as a motivator to kick myself in the butt and finish the first draft this month. I currently have roughly 45-50k words and have started organizing what I have and filling in some of the gaps. I'm aiming for 75k words. So organizing the rest of what I already have and writing another 25-30k words is more reasonable. At the very least, I hope to accomplish most of that task.
But it's November... and my baby sister is turning 20 later this month... aaaaaaahhhhhhhh! I feel old. I'll also be getting a new baby cousin around Thanksgiving. It seems like just a short time ago, little Jaden came into this world, and now he's getting a little sister. Holy crap.
Some girl I went to high school with added me on Facebook. I'm not sure why, since we never got along. She was a loud, annoying, snotty cheerleader, a prime example of the "bitchy popular girl" archetype so prevalent in teenage chick flicks. What the crap, she treated me like dirt in junior high and high school, and now she wants to be "friends?" Yeah, right. I think not. IGNORE!
